Raising a Teenager

I currently have a 15-year-old boy. Need I say more. Most likely not, however...

Anthony is a good kid, he really is. He is a little off center in his thinking at the moment but according to my research, this is normal.

I pray daily for direction. I hope I'm listening. I keep trying.

There are so many pressures on kids today. I thought there were a lot when I was growing up and even more when raising Jenn (my oldest daughter) and Laura (my youngest daughter).

I am afraid for him and them and my grand children. I pray. I pray.

Gangs, Drugs, Pornography, Smoking, Swearing. Clothes, Shoes, School, Girls, Sex... The list is endless. Trying to explain what is important and what is not, when everything to them is important with the exception of chores, School, Respect, etc.

I know I am going to succeed with this child, by God's grace.

I will keep praying and hopefully listening.

And then.... Here comes Andrew....

The Saga will continue
